Tower Rigging Plan V5

Structured to align with ANSI 10.48; project information, rigging class, tower type, hoists, rigging attachments, temp guys, lift angles, checklist, sign off signature, anchor logic, lift presets, force-vector teaching overlays, PDF export, and a lift geometry engine.

The more knowledge in the planner, the better the rigger. Rig On.

ANSI 10.48 Class Rigging Guidance

Class II

  • Prepared by a Competent Rigger or a Qualified Person with onsite competent person involvement.
  • Handline hoisting under 35 lbs does not need documentation.
  • SOW affects integrity and gross loads do not exceed 500 lbs.

Class III

  • Prepared by a Qualified Person with onsite involvement of the Competent Person(s).
  • Normal construction methods not affecting structural integrity.
  • Gross loads do not exceed 2000 lbs.

Class IV

  • Prepared by a Qualified Person with onsite competent person involvement and a Qualified Engineer.
  • Gross loads exceed 2000 lbs, special methods, demolition, instability, or high-concern anchors.
  • Straight tag lifts over 70° regardless of load.
