Trolley / Self-Tagging Lift Simulator

Adjust load, heights, hoist distance, and tower-face offset to visualize changing line angles, self-tag force, and tower anchor reaction.

Inputs

The farther the load moves away from the tower face, the more force increases.

Teaching Notes

1. A trolley/self-tagging lift changes the load path. The system is lifting and pulling away from the tower face.
2. As horizontal offset increases, angle and tension increase.
3. Verify anchors, structure, equipment ratings, friction, dynamic loading, manufacturer instructions, and the job-specific rigging plan.
