KingPin | The Aluminium Shackle

Let us present the new masterpiece of SLACKTIVITY – the «KingPin». This aluminium shackle weighs only 107g (incl. PushPin and rubber cord), has a minimal breaking strength of 60 kN (6 tons), and is made of aircraft-grade aluminium (AL7075).

The mouth opening of 26mm width allows optimal handling to clip end loops, the deadManplate, soft release and 25 mm webbings. The high side plates offer perfect guidance for soft release or primitive pulleys.

The shackle's spacey bow offers enough space for round slings. At 120°, one another is allowed to lie at a perfect angle on the shackle surface. The PushPin, made of stainless steel with an 11.2mm diameter, has been weight-optimized and is super easy to use. The rubber cord connects to the free-turning PushPin with the shackle body. With some exercise, the KingPin can even be handled one-handed. Tested per applicable standards.
