This year I had the privilege of participating in the 2026 WISE (Women In Safety Excellence) PPE Fashion Show in California, showcasing @FallTech’s FIT Collection purpose-built full-body harnesses designed specifically for women who work at height.
For years, many of us in the tower industry have worn gear that was never designed with our bodies in mind. We’ve cinched, adjusted, and compromised. That changes with equipment like the FallTech Carbon FT-One Fit Tower harness. It was built for the way women actually move and work on towers and it showed on the runway.
The energy at the WISE fashion show was electric. Models of all sizes walked with confidence in high-visibility gear, flame-resistant clothing, and properly fitted fall protection. It wasn’t just a fashion show. It was a statement: PPE that fits is PPE that protects.
I wore the FallTech FIT harness throughout the event and spent time talking with other women about what a difference the right gear makes.
One of my favorite moments was simply putting the harness on and feeling it sit correctly, just a solid, secure fit that lets you focus on the job instead of your equipment.
Events like WISE matter because they put women front and center in an industry that has historically overlooked us. When manufacturers like FallTech invest in designing for women, and when organizations like ASSP give that gear a platform, it moves the entire industry forward.
I’m proud to have been part of it.
To every woman climbing, rigging, or working at height: you deserve gear that was made for you.
Stay safe. Stay trained.
